2. Data we may process

When you contact the Association, we may process information you provide voluntarily and the minimum technical data required to keep the website secure and operational.

• Full name, email address and telephone number, if provided.
• The organisation or club you represent.
• The reason for your enquiry and the contents of your message.
• Basic technical data such as IP address, date, time and security logs where generated by the hosting provider.

3. Purposes

Personal data will only be used for purposes connected with the Association and the tournament.

• Answering enquiries and requests for information.
• Managing proposals relating to participation, volunteering, partnerships, sponsorship or the media.
• Maintaining security, preventing misuse and ensuring the website operates correctly.
• Meeting legal obligations or responding to requests from competent authorities.

4. Legal basis

Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on the consent you provide when submitting an enquiry; steps taken at your request before entering into a relationship or the management of an existing relationship with the Association; compliance with legal obligations; and the legitimate interest in securing the website and responding to communications related to the organisation’s work.

5. Retention

Enquiries will be retained for as long as necessary to answer them and for no more than twenty-four months after closure, unless a relationship begins or a legal obligation requires a different period. Data may then remain restricted for the applicable statutory limitation periods.

6. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data will not be sold or disclosed for commercial purposes. It may be accessed by providers supplying hosting, maintenance, email or support services to the Association under appropriate contractual safeguards, and by public bodies or authorities where required by law.

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards required by the General Data Protection Regulation will be used, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability, and may withdraw your consent, by writing to the contact email and clearly identifying your request.

• Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
• If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Children

The general contact form is not intended for the direct registration of children. Information about participants who are minors must be provided through the channels specified by the Association and by a parent or legal guardian, together with the relevant information and permissions.

9. Security and updates

The Association will apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. This policy may be updated if the services, processing activities or applicable law change. The current version date appears at the top of this page.
