1. Data controller

The data controller is Associació Esportiva Jordi Pitarque Ceprià, whose identification and contact details appear on this page.

2. Data we may process

When you contact the Association, we may process information you provide voluntarily and the minimum technical data required to keep the website secure and operational.

• Full name, email address and telephone number, if provided.
• The organisation or club you represent.
• The reason for your enquiry and the contents of your message.
• Technical data generated by the Google reCAPTCHA v3 security service when you interact with the form (relating to your browser, device or use of the service).
• When you voluntarily activate a YouTube player, technical data that Google may receive, such as your IP address, browser and device information and data about your interaction with the video.
• If you accept analytics, technical and usage data generated by Google Analytics 4, such as pages visited, browser and device information, date and time, and technical identifiers associated with its cookies or similar technologies. We do not send personal data entered in the form to Analytics.
• Basic technical data such as IP address, date, time and security logs where generated by the hosting provider.

3. Purposes

Personal data will only be used for purposes connected with the Association and the tournament.

• Answering enquiries and requests for information.
• Managing proposals relating to participation, volunteering, partnerships, sponsorship or the media.
• Maintaining security, preventing spam and abuse on the contact form —using tools such as Google reCAPTCHA v3— and ensuring the website operates correctly.
• Obtaining aggregated statistics about use of and navigation through the website with Google Analytics 4, only if you have accepted its activation.
• Displaying audiovisual content hosted on YouTube when you voluntarily request playback.
• Meeting legal obligations or responding to requests from competent authorities.
• Replying to messages received using the email address you provide solely as a reply-to address, never as the sender of our own messages.

4. Legal basis

Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on the consent you provide when submitting an enquiry or, separately, when accepting Google Analytics 4; steps taken at your request before entering into a relationship or the management of an existing relationship with the Association; compliance with legal obligations; and the legitimate interest in securing the website, preventing spam and abusive use of the contact form —for example through Google reCAPTCHA v3— and responding to communications related to the organisation’s work. Analytics is not considered strictly necessary and is not activated without your consent.

The YouTube player is only loaded at your request, after you press the play button that informs you it will activate third-party content.

5. Retention

Enquiries will be retained for as long as necessary to answer them and for no more than twenty-four months after closure, unless a relationship begins or a legal obligation requires a different period. Data may then remain restricted for the applicable statutory limitation periods.

The contact form does not store messages in the application’s own database: they are delivered directly by email to the person responsible for handling them, where they are kept for the period stated above. Any technical data generated by the Google reCAPTCHA service is retained according to Google’s own criteria, which are outside our control.

Data and identifiers generated by Google Analytics 4 are retained according to the settings applied to the Analytics account and Google’s criteria. You can withdraw consent through the cookie preferences option in the footer.

6. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data will not be sold or disclosed for commercial purposes. It may be accessed by providers supplying hosting, maintenance, email or support services to the Association under appropriate contractual safeguards, and by public bodies or authorities where required by law.

The contact form uses the Google reCAPTCHA v3 service to prevent spam and abusive use. This means Google, as an external provider, may receive technical data relating to interaction with the form, the browser and the device of the user, in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Google also acts as the provider of Google Analytics 4 when the user accepts it. Analytics serves a statistical purpose; reCAPTCHA v3 is a separate form-security service and operates independently of the Analytics preference.

Google also receives the technical data needed to serve the video when the user voluntarily activates a YouTube player. Until then, the website only displays a local image and does not connect to YouTube.

Use of these Google services may involve international processing or transfers. Where applicable, they must rely on the mechanisms and safeguards required by data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, although we cannot state generally which mechanism applies to each specific operation.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability, and may withdraw your consent, by writing to the contact email and clearly identifying your request.

• Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
• If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Children

The general contact form is not intended for the direct registration of children. Information about participants who are minors must be provided through the channels specified by the Association and by a parent or legal guardian, together with the relevant information and permissions.

9. Security and updates

The Association will apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. This policy may be updated if the services, processing activities or applicable law change. The current version date appears at the top of this page.
